Your project sequence.
Use this as a planning guide. The chosen product’s technical instructions determine preparation, application and timing.
Check the coating system
Read the chosen paint and primer instructions. Confirm substrate compatibility, application conditions, coverage and recoat requirements.
Mix and set up
Stir as directed and use the recommended brush and roller. Keep a manageable amount of paint in the tray and protect the work area.
Work the edges
Use a suitable brush along corners and edges. Work in manageable sections so the brushed and rolled areas can join according to the product instructions.
Roll a manageable section
Load the roller evenly and spread the paint without forcing it. Maintain an even film and avoid repeatedly working paint that has begun to set.
Finish and allow time
Follow the specified recoat and cure periods. Inspect in good light, complete any recommended coats and clean tools as directed.
