Production Clear is a clearcoat from Southern Polyurethanes for a specified automotive refinishing system.
About this product range
SPI Production Clear is a 2.1 VOC clearcoat for spot repairs and overall refinishing. It is mixed 4:1 with the specified activator. Apply it over basecoat after the required flash time; activated enamel or polyurethane must sit at least 8 hours, preferably overnight. Activator choice and temperature affect flash and drying. The manual specifies low-temperature baking at 110–120°F for 10–15 minutes, depending on conditions, and prohibits baking above 120°F.
