A white epoxy primer from the Southern Polyurethanes automotive refinishing range.
About this product range
SPI Epoxy Primer is a two-component, 2.1 VOC coating for properly prepared metal, bare fibreglass and SMC. Mix 1 part primer with 1 part specified epoxy activator. Thoroughly stir any settled material before mixing; a paint shaker alone is not sufficient. A 30-minute induction is recommended and is required when reducing the epoxy. Pot life is 72–120 hours, depending on humidity and temperature, in a sealed container; do not refrigerate. Follow the technical sheet for preparation, cleaning, flash time and any use as a sealer. This epoxy replaces the need for an acid-etch primer within the specified system.
