Polyurethane Retarder is an additive for the Southern Polyurethanes coating systems specified in its technical manual.
About this product range
SPI Urethane Retarder slows flash-off in compatible SPI primers, clears and single-stage coatings, particularly during hot-weather or overall applications. The manual specifies 1–2 oz per mixed quart for primers and 1–3 oz per mixed quart for clears or single-stage paint in the stated hot-weather conditions. Larger additions are described only for specific flow-coat or corrective procedures. Follow the instructions for the coating being used.
