A grey two-component high-build primer from the Southern Polyurethanes automotive refinishing range.
About this product range
SPI 2K High Build Primer is a 2.1 VOC primer mixed 4:1 with its specified activator. Coat bare metal with epoxy primer first. Stir the activator into the thick primer for a full minute. Reduction with compatible SPI reducers must not exceed 25%. Pot life is 60 minutes at 70°F, but mixed material must not remain in the spray gun longer than 30 minutes. The manufacturer recommends a 2.0–2.5 mm gun tip. Sanding may be possible in 45–60 minutes, depending on application and temperature.
