The Festool SELFCLEAN SC FIS-CT 48/5 is a fleece filter bag for the Cleantex CT 48 dust extractor. The pack contains five bags.
Dust collection and disposal
The flexible bag helps prevent fine dust from building up into a cake on its inner surface. Reducing that build-up helps maintain suction as the bag fills and avoids the extra motor strain associated with restricted airflow.
As a pre-filter, it collects larger chips and fine particles down to 5 microns, reducing the dust reaching the main HEPA filter and helping limit wear and replacement costs. The tear-resistant material helps prevent bag blow-outs. An integrated closure shuts the opening before disposal to reduce spills.
