Full product details, applications & manufacturer specifications

The finishing and maintenance coat in the Classic system for exterior logs, timbers and other suitable wood.

It builds a breathable, low-lustre finish with UV and weather protection. For natural tones, use the desired colour formula or Classic Naturals Topcoat. Other tones use tinted Classic 3 for maintenance; Sansin specifies a pigment dosage of at least one-quarter formula per gallon. Follow the system’s technical directions.

Companion products for the selected product and system.

  • MULTI-WASH

Clean an existing finished wood surface before a maintenance coat.

For maintenance cleaning, use the label dilution, test first and rinse thoroughly. Let the surface dry before coating; cleaning does not replace stripping or sanding when needed.

  • CLASSIC 2

Start a new Classic system with the appropriate preceding coat.

Classic 2 precedes Classic 3 in the applicable new-work schedule; it is not automatically required for maintenance coats.
