A translucent satin alkyd finish for exterior wood siding, logs and trim.
The high-solids formula builds a protective finish in two coats while keeping the wood grain visible. It is intended for properly prepared exterior vertical wood and helps accommodate normal wood expansion and contraction. Use a deck-specific finish for walking surfaces.

Canadian SIK42XXXC sheet: keep air and surface at 10–32°C during application and for 24 hours afterward; ideal temperature is 20°C ±5°C. Relative humidity must not exceed 85%. Keep the surface at least 3°C above the dew point. Avoid direct sunlight. Do not apply if rain, snow, heavy dew or temperatures below 4°C are forecast within 48 hours. The notes require wood moisture below 18%; this strict limit is not displayed as an inclusive maximum. High humidity and cold extend drying.
Check the air, the actual surface, overnight conditions and the full drying or curing period. The current product label takes precedence.

- Application method
Brush in the direction of the grain; immediately back-brush any roller or spray application as directed in the technical sheet.
- Drying time
Touch dry: 12 hours; rain/dew resistance: 48 hours; full cure: 7 days at 21°C.
- Recoat time
At least 24 hours at 21°C; allow longer in cool or humid conditions.
