A flattening agent for the Southern Polyurethanes coating systems specified in its technical manual.
About this product range
SPI Liquid Flattening Agent is a concentrated, semi-gel additive for lowering the gloss of compatible coatings. Mix or shake it thoroughly before every use and add it gradually. The manual gives 20–40% of activated material as a common range, with 20–30% as a starting point for a low sheen. Different coatings need different amounts. Spray a test panel and allow it to dry fully: the flattening effect takes about 24 hours. Use the correct activator and reducer speed for the coating.
