Speed Clear is a clearcoat from Southern Polyurethanes for a specified automotive refinishing system.
About this product range
SPI Speed Clear is a 2.1 VOC clearcoat for repairs of five panels or fewer. Mix 3 parts clear with 1 part specified activator. Application is limited to two coats, applied wet-on-wet to each panel; a third coat is not specified. The manufacturer quotes an air-dry/buffing time as short as 90 minutes under its stated conditions. Pot life is 30 minutes at 75°F. Accelerator, retarder or a small amount of suitable reducer may be used but are not recommended. Follow the technical manual for air-drying or baking.
