The current sheet prohibits application below 15°C and, for best results, says not to apply to hot pavement or when temperatures exceed 27°C. It does not explicitly distinguish air from surface temperature, so those limits remain in these instructions. Apply to a dry, clean surface and do not apply if rain is expected; no fixed rain-free duration is published. New pavement and asphalt patches must cure for 90 days in warm weather. Do not open to traffic until fully cured. The sheet warns that cold, damp or cloudy weather can extend curing to 7 days or more. Do not dilute or apply over coal tar.
