3M™ Cubitron™ II File Belt is a premium abrasive file belt for spot weld removal and other grinding / sanding applications.
This file belt can be used with various types of file belt sanding machines available in the market. Use 3M™ Cubitron™ II File Belt 786F as high durability and long-lasting performance premium abrasive belt. It is ideal for tough detail work like cleaning, deburring, blending and finishing as well as working in small confined spaces. The 3M™ Cubitron™ II File Belt 786F is equipped with 3M™ Cubitron™ II Abrasives, which feature our Precision-Shaped Grain (PSG) technology with uniformly sized ceramic grains and precisely shaped triangular structures – essentially, sharp peaks that slice, not plough, through paint and metal.
These grains are electrostatically oriented on the abrasive surface for the most efficient cut and even wear. Additionally, they fracture during use to maintain sharp abrasive edges resulting in a 30% faster cut and lasting 2x longer life than conventional ceramic abrasives.
