Super2 is a 100% acrylic latex interior paint with an eggshell finish.
It provides a washable, stain-resistant surface for interior walls and adheres to porous and non-porous surfaces, including previously painted oil-based finishes. The coating dries quickly, has low odour and resists yellowing. This listing is product 43051 in the 5-gallon format.
Finish and performance
The acrylic coating flows and levels smoothly for broad wall areas. Its higher volume solids support hiding, coverage and durability. The finish stands up to washing and stains without yellowing, and its quick drying time and low odour suit interior work. Brush and roller application are recommended.
Suitable surfaces
Use on interior woodwork, doors, trim and masonry, including new wood or wood that has previously been stained. It is also suited to institutional, commercial and residential work where oil-based paint was traditionally specified. Follow the product sheet for preparation, including when coating an existing oil-based finish.
Approvals and bases
The manufacturer lists Canadian Food Inspection Agency “No Objection Status” for registered establishments and Master Painter’s Institute approval in category #138, Gloss Level 2. For very pale off-white colours, the range includes the high-hiding Ultra White Base, product 43050.
